Yes, George also inspired me when I was still in UST. I often found his images in travel magazines especially Mabuhay. I told myself that one day I'll be doing the same. He called last week when he was in front of our house in Sabtang, Batanes. He was leading a workshop there. I might be going down this week before I proceed to the Cagayan Valley for a long shoot.
All the best! |

You have beautiful images. They are genuine works of art. I like it that you post your images one at a time, like a painting hanging in an art gallery. A viewer like me tends to appreciate it more. Thank you for sharing them. |

sir, got to attend an artist talk yesterday in MOA with you friend George Tapan. He mentioned you in his talk. hope to attend talks like that when you come to manila.,.,. Have a Great day! |

Hi Alford. Your New Mexico and Arizona images are simply superb. Yes, we should be shooting more from our region. I'm presently doing a coffee table book on our colonial churches. Hope to catch you there one of these days. Good luck! |

Thank you Jessie. Your capture depends on what you want to show in the final image. In this case, I wanted to show just the details of where the sun was hitting the petals. If I wanted to show details on the other flower, I would have used a reflector to bounce back the light. But I wanted to show the details on the highlighted part. Still Manong Noli, I am impressed.
You are correct, it is how one wants to show the beauty as one sees it.
Although for a newby such as myself, I would not mind trying a variety of pespectives and your example I would like to try. I am still far from using a reflector, I still have a great deal to learn and inputs such as yours are ingredients I will need to better myself in this hobby that has truly become a passion. Again, thank you Manong Noli. |

Sir Noli! Your photos inspire me more to shoot the beauty of our country, especially of our region (2)/ Cagayan region. I need to go out more and explore Isabela, N. Vizcaya, Batanes, Cagayan etc. rgds. |
